December 23, 200519 yr Little story from a non-soul mate of mine, his father in-law who was a R&Roller in the 50's stop buying vinyl in the early 60's reason got married, had kids, now he's an OAP, when he stopped work, he suddenly found the urge to start collecting original vinyl again from the 50's and 60's he's amassed a massive collection of over 10,000 discs, and still collecting, goes to car-boot, house clearances, auctions, ebay etc. So my guess is we will still be doing what we do for a few years yet. I keep meaning to go around to his house just to see what he has actually got, I might find some nice early R&B/Soul tracks there, whether he would part with them is another thing.
