This month, for the opening set we head to Los Angeles for a couple of heavyweight funk obscurities. Also included this month are some classic cuts by James Austin & the breakbeat led Preacher & the Saints. Plus we uncover a monster side by the Mighty Travelneers out of the Carolinas.

For the 2nd section, we've bounced around the deep soul selections giving the sublime Supreme Jubilees a play from an LP loaded with killer cuts. Plus the Marvaneers gets a debut spin as well as the Woolfalk Singers obscurity.

To close, we head to obscure lo-fi funk & heavy soul territory...a collection of tunes that are slightly messy in arrangement, but pack just as big of a punch!!
