Vanguards was on a thread re. second issue etc. ALWAYS rated this slowie - better than the flip. Excellent group soul . See it a fiver or lots more on certain dealer site. .

The Vanguards is very atmospheric. The bass comes a as a surprise but is great. The song reminds me a bit of this one.

I don't know. I've got it on a Goldmine CD - Deepest Soul Volume 2 GSCD41. Unfortunately there is scant info on the tracks . This is the entry for the Bobby O'Brown song: " I CAN FEEL MY LOVE GROWING - BOBBY O'BROWN (Givens, Smith Brown, Baily) Time. 2.49 Prod. Telldell-Telldell "

And this write-up: " An unusual bongo-propelled rhythm for this one shot Detroit artist."

It's a good CD. This one is worth playing loud if you are drunk and emotional.
