'she Went Away' (no She Wasn't There In The First Place)

I recently purchased 'Across the Board Vol 2' because according to the Amazon track listing it contained the excellent Natural Impulse track: She Went Away. I was extremely disappointed to find it was not on the CD when I received it through the post but interesting the CD notes written by Tim Brown suggested it was to be included.

Does anybody know what happened, was it withdrawn for contractural reasons? Is the track ever going to appear on a CD (the wife would never let me buy the single, even if I could find a copy)?
