Quite recently i've put three bids on records from three different sellers, and incredibly although I did'nt win I was offered a second chance offer at the final price, three times i've been told that the winner failed to complete the deal, is this a case of getting your mate to put in a high bid then pull out of the deal at the end of it?, hope this makes sense :wicked:whistling.gif

It happened to me this week for the 1st time, (but not with records) My theory is that they could be trying to tease a few extra quid out of you but if you don't increase your bid, they come back to you for your original offer? Is this what you mean? - regards Ade

I've had some really good records by 'second chance' but they've always been offered at what 'my bid' was.

Hi Lenny

Recently I lost a record. Two days latter I got this message in my ebay message board.

"Hi,

You recently bid on a Rain 45 I had for sale, I have just listed another copy - 4840664632 . Though it may interest you.

Cheers

ginola"

Think this may be just a case of extra copies.

You can only do a second chance for the value someone bid on.

Winning bid $100

Runner up $95 (Second Chance Offer)

Then the second chance can only be for $95 so I guess if you are happy with your original bid then take it.

I quite often offer second chance if I have additional copy/ies whistling.gif
