Did I tell you the story about how I got my copy?

Kilburn (North London) Record Fair - Paul "the collection, doesn't miss a trick" Phillips buys his copy from Des T. Hello, whats going on here thinks Sean "of Maida Vale" and immediately buys Des's 2nd sealed copy. Hmmm, interesting (me thinks) and buys the last sealed copy (absolutely blind) for myself.

What a result, an absolute fluke !!!

This was several years ago, and it cost me 100 pounds then !!!

I guess it woz the right place at the right time ... i woz very lucky that day!

Here's a bit more- I'd been trying to get the album cos I was doing a compilation CD ( "Flying High") and was possibly going to use it- I hadn't heard it at the time, but someone had mentioned it and as I had the chance to use the 'Chelsea' label on the compilation it was a possibilty for inclusion.

Des was set up next to the Expansion stall at "Togetherness" and had a sealed one on the wall. Less than 100 changed hands that I do remember. Soul Sam had seen me get the album and asked Des about it and Des produced another one, unsealed and less than mint for the cover at least.

I got it home after the weekend....played it...and errrr,it never did get onto the compilation . But it turned out we didn't have the rights anyway.

The week after Togetherness Ali Holden asked on 'ANS' about a track Soul Sam had played that weekend and quoted some lyrics. It was 'We're In Love With Each Other' from the album. I'll post it up later.
