There have been several threads over the years discussing the various releases by Eddie Billups. I've done a quick cut an' paste of details from these threads which are pertinent to the above twelve. "Two different mixes though - Garpax and Solid Gold are identical, as far as I know.. This is true! Garpax & Solid Gold are a later and therefore more 'discofied' mix with a twangy bass thing going on. He then (some years later) put the remix out on his own Solid Gold label. I got "Shake off that dream" on a four track 12" EP credited to Eddie Owen. Label is Sound of Gold and it's the Garpax / Solid Gold version. I have the Eddie Owen 12" - bought from London's Bluebird records during the early 80's. It's on Solid Gold, not Sound of Gold".
