Are there any collectors of Northern vinyl who would like to help with a project on record collecting? I'm conducting some research on Northern Soul record collecting and I was hoping to add some quotes from UK soulies... Mostly interested in why collectors pick particular records...

Well you're in the right place! Although many would class themselves as soul collectors as opposed to Northern soul collectors. Good luck with your project.

theres also a few younger people on here, myself included, who have been collecting the stuff for (in comparison) a relatively short amount of time, just incase such a perspective would prove itself useful!
