Can anyone confirm that the single is longer than the LP cut by about 20 seconds? 

 

The LP has it as 3:19 (my recording of it's about the same), but the single states a timing of 3:40, is this correct or a typo on the label?

yes you are CORRECT John, its not a typo.

single states 3.40 and the LP is 3.23 approx.

the single at3.01 has, only love can fix it,repeated by the backing

singers then ooh ooh baby,which isn't on the LP also i think

the LP is slightly faster that's why its shorter,but i could

be wrong,stonking tune btw.the ending is also different.
