Johnny Mack —I want to live everyday for your love /Let them talk (JMA 001) m- / vg++, unplayed stock £150

Excellent and obscure northern soul effort from Miami. Quality deep soul on the flip.

In demand release for both sweet soul & crossover crowds.

The Confidentials —Does he really love you / pt 2 (Masterpiece 1936) unplayed stock BUT low-fi pressing vg+ £25

Michigan area first label pressing. This copy was never played, but suffers from being one of the most badly pressed records ever (which IMO adds a lot of charm and makes it a personal favourite).

The Exits — Under the street lamp / You got to have money (Gemini 1004-yellow issue) vg record & label + wol £20 SOLD

No introduction needed. The record looks used, but plays perfectly.

Cool funk mover from NYC.

Masterpiece —Love affair / We’re gonna make it (YPSI 1001) vg+ £125 SOLD

First league outing from Michigan. I played it a few times, hence vg+ grading (ultra clean copy though).

Don Pierce —This funky thing / Spook-a-delic (Majesty 1041) vg+ to vg++ £35

Forgotten late 90’s deep funk classic, perfect for today standards.

 Later boogie release from Rockford Il. finest.

Little Beaver with Frank Williams & the Rocketeers -I feel my love // Get it (Octavia 0006) vg-/plays strong vg £40

Enjoyable copy of this rarest of the rare oldie. (N.B: this copy was on hold, but is now re-listed due to non-payment).

Nervous funk from NYC. Breaks galore.

Highly recommended. Killer double sider from Texas, produced by Comrad Johnson (of Kashmere Stage Band fame).

Tyrone Baylis -So glad I found you // T-Fox (Mo-City 0103) m- £30

Super obscure early 80's modern soul-boogie effort from Michigan.
