Jackie Day - More Sad News

Here's more bad news for the world of soul, in a month that's already been filled with far too much of it...

A friend just wrote me from L.A., to tell me that Modern/Specialty artist Jackie Day is not expected to live beyond the end of this week, after falling into a coma towards the end of last week. I don't know the circumstances that led to the coma, but whatever they are, it's sad to have to report it...
