March 8, 201411 yr What a great interview. Think how many times she must have answered those questions in her life and yet it comes over as fresh and with a genuine love and affection for her fans. On a personal note I am pleased how well she speaks of the Beatles. I am a big fan. They had Mary Wells on one of their U.K. tours and Brenda Holloway in the U.S. but they still get a bit of stick on this forum from time to time. I think I will print out the interview and use her words in evidence one day!!
March 8, 201411 yr You're right, she still seems to maintain that enthusiasm. Many of her answers were prefixed with an excited "Oh my God!" but I edited most of them out as it looked a bit too repetitive in print. She did speak well of the Beatles and there was one funny part when she painted a little picture of them along the lines of "George was quiet; John was business; Ringo was crazy" and then said "and who was the other one?" Made me chuckle but didn't think it fair to include!
