well done , nice read

What a great interview. Think how many times she must have answered those questions in her life and yet it comes over as fresh and with a genuine love and affection for her fans.

On a personal note I am pleased how well she speaks of the Beatles. I am a big fan. They had Mary Wells on one of their U.K. tours and Brenda Holloway in the U.S. but they still get a bit of stick on this forum from time to time. I think I will print out the interview and use her words in evidence one day!! :D:thumbup:

You're right, she still seems to maintain that enthusiasm. Many of her answers were prefixed with an excited "Oh my God!" but I edited most of them out as it looked a bit too repetitive in print.

She did speak well of the Beatles and there was one funny part when she painted a little picture of them along the lines of "George was quiet; John was business; Ringo was crazy" and then said "and who was the other one?" Made me chuckle but didn't think it fair to include!
