Lee Montgomery?

Anyone  have any info on Lee Montgomery the soul singer?

 

I picked up a J.J. Barnes record at a do tonight and it seems to have been authenticated and signed by him on the cover and it says "Montt" in pen on the label. Just makes my cheapo purchase a little more interesting that's all.

Not on you tube so just a label scan.

 

UPDATE: Done a bit more digging - looks like he's a blue eyed guy from Chicago who released a few singles way back when.

Best known for singing the lead on a mawkish Chicago Tourist Board song in 1985.

Apparently spent the 80s, 90s and 00s as a jingles singer.

 

So, my record would probs be worth more without his signature!...it's just a WOL.
