ALL ORIGINALS — GREAT SELECTION TODAY FOLKS

NANCY AMES — I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT — JAPAN EPIC                                          M-             50

Stunning Japanese copy with picture sleeve of Nancy

NANCY WILSON — WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE ME — CAPITOL                                                 M-             20

This is a weird one — it’s not on the usual swirl label design, but the orange and red circles design, never seen one before

THE NEWBEATS — CRYING MY HEART OUT — HICKORY DEMO                                                VG++      20

Tough original demo

NOLAN PORTER — IF I COULD ONLY BE SURE — ABC                                                                       M-             100

Absolute beauty of a copy, so hard to find one with no noise whatsoever on that intro

THE O’JAYS — I DIG YOUR ACT — BELL DEMO                                                                                      EX+         40

Beautiful original demo.  Radio station sticker on other side.

THE ORLONS — THE WAH WATUSI — CAMEO                                                                                      EX+         15

For all the Quadrophenia fans out there.

OTIS LEAVILL — WHEN THE MUSIC GROOVES / LET HER LOVE ME — BLUE ROCK          M-             25

Two great sides. Drill hole in label.

PATIENCE VALENTINE — IF YOU DON’T COME (YOU BETTER CALL) — SAR                       VG            200

It’s a bit of a scruffy one this, vinyl is only G/VG but play wise, you’ll murder them if you DJ with it, I counted 4 small pops apart from that, and a little crackle on the intro, it’s fine.  Label which was once bright white is now dirty white.

PAUL ANKA — I CAN’T HELP LOVING YOU — RCA ISSUE                                                                  EX            180

This just looks stunning, black stock copy of one of the greatest Northern 45’s ever made

THE PETER HAMILTON GENERATION — HEY GIRL — JAMIE DEMO                                         M-             125

Brilliant instrumental, looks unplayed

THE POETS — SHE BLEW A GOOD THING — SYMBOL                                                                      EX            15

Classic from the early days

THE PRECISIONS — IF THIS IS LOVE (I’D RATHER BE LONELY) — DREW W/DEMO        EX+         75

Extremely desirable white demo — stunning

THE PRECISIONS — SUCH MISERY — DREW                                                                                          EX            75

Classic Detroit dancer

THE PRESENT — MANY’S THE SLIP TWIXT THE CUP AND THE LIP — PHILIPS                                    EX            75

Big oldie, again, Wigan classic…light label wear but plays mint

THE PUSSYCATS — I WANT YOUR LOVE — COLUMBIA                                                                     EX            40

Good girl group dancer.

MARTHA REEVES — NO ONE THERE — TAMLA MOTOWN                                                            EX+         70

Superb UK copy

That’s it for today I think…
