I recently bought a pretty large lot of records. Some nice, some beat, etc. Lets say a LOT.
I look at the wants- but forget them immediately.
So I would love some basics on what generally is wanted.
I see little talk about lps. I'm handling some motown type stuff;
typically it is in a poor condition jacket, with a somewhat worn, playable disc. Is this type of disc, in this type of condition, common in the UK and probably of little interest?
I also have come across a few of the "various artist" lps from the 60s.
Maybe a dot, a laurie, maybe a jewel. Any interest?
As for the 45s; from the digging so far- 99% are U.S issued. Are there any really common US labels or groups that are scarce overseas?
How poor condition would you consider on a disc you've been searching hi & lo for?
generally bad condition lps are not worth anything unless its a holy grail type of thing..then you gotta consider the postage from the usa
as for 45`s if they are common in the usa they will be
