Tobias also bootlegs and wants these records to cut onto 7" and sell for profit. It is against the site policy to sell bootlegs. Perhaps it is also against site policy to try and aquire records to bootleg?

Surely offering 3 mediocre records in trade for 3 out and out rare as they come funk monsters is fair, isn't it

I think I detect tension

Its tension that overspills from the funk forum. I've met Tobias, he's a good sort. He does try and get records on the cheap but he's built up a good collection that way. I think that's what irks Trouble, who has built a good collection buy paying too much for trophy pieces.

Toby is also knows how to DJ rather well, and that probably irks Mr. Trouble too.

As for bootlegging, there is a useful phrase about people living in glass houses ...
