Been looking everywhere for anything on this subject. Can't find owt, and please forgive me if the answer is common knowledge or really obvious.

I just wondered why Frankie Karl (or whoever), named the band by that name given that 7th avenue was the site of one of USA's worst air disasters ? As I've said, sorry to bother you if this is just common knowledge, I've just been curious for quite a while ? ...
