I had one of these a few years ago and it was elliptical as opposed to being round! Never seen another 45 like this before. It took me a few days to realize what was wrong with it ,as it was very slight and difficult to judge. I thought it was of center, but no matter how i pissed around with it on the deck, the player arm it was still moving around. I never knew if it was really changing the sound that much as it was so slight, and i had no way of checking. However i got so paranoid about it i flogged it. Just thought i would let you know Sean as i don't want it to happen to you. So do look closely before you buy, or the one i had may have been the only one like it.

Oh my goodness what a bizarre situation

Well ill certainly be careful Andy but im lead to believe its a very elusive record
