Can anybody tell me anything about this band they were british and recorded for Beacon Records the u.k. label. They did a great version of Eddy Grant's Black Skinned Blue Eyed Boys

Got this somewhere myself on French Polydor. Don't know anything about them myself.

Eddy Grant seemed to go in for remakes - he did loads of versions of 'Nobody's Got Time' over the years...

I'm guessing that as Beacon was owned by a West Indian guy, and their releases were either American acts like The Showstoppers and Bobby Wells and the rest West Indians living in the UK,  like Ram John Holder, he could been West Indian, living in the uk  maybe from Guyana, as Eddy Grant was from there, and he produced it. It's a graet record and would love to know about him, Google doesn't bring up anything
