...Not sure that I shouldn't really have posted this in "Freebasing", but I thought that fans of "The Sopranos" (and who isn't one) would like to know that the fifth episode in the new series - which starts on E4 this Thursday - features both Frankie Valli, in his recurring role as an elder statesman mobster, and Dean Parrish, as a singer at the wedding of the daughter of "Johnny Sac". Dean appears under his real name, Phil Anastasia, and, of course, his day job really has been that of a wedding singer for many years now...

...not very often that you get a TV show, which isn't specifically about the genre, with two Northern heroes in it, innit?

BTW and like me, long-time Sopranos fans might find the first few episodes of this series a bit downbeat compared to what's preceded them in other series, but having seen the whole of this series now I have to say that it once it gets going it's vintage stuff all the way!

TONE :D
