On June 16, 2015 Mighty Sam McClain died 72 years old. Just months before he managed to record an album, «Tears of the World», together with the Norwegian blues artist, Knut Reiersrud. From this album they released 300 copies of Mighty Sam MacClains last 45 with a great version of «Tears of The World» on one side and MacClains own tune «Friend» on the other.
