Funk Brothers recognition in France, 1965

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge but it's new to  me. The French Motown compilation L.P. "The Big, Big Sound From Detroit" released in early 1965 listed all the musicians that played on the tracks in some detail due to  the efforts of Kurt Mohr.  It seems that with a little probing Motown were willing to provide such information - or maybe they just dropped their guard?
