That time on a Friday to sit back and peruse a selection quality soul tunes for sale!

A bit pressed for time so not the usual post with scans, as such I'm happy to send scans and sound files on request.

PM any questions or to reserve.

Jean Wells - With your love and what you've got - Calla 143 Vg++ £20

(Some vinyl marks, mainly superficial, clean labels, but plays through loud and clear, what powerhouse vocals this girl has got)

Len Jewell - Bettin' on love - Fontana 1599 WD Ex £300

(Never goes out of fashion, fabulous tune.  Number ink stamped on label)

Eddie Hill - I can hear you crying - Ge Ge 502 Ex £50

(Unmistakable tone this man has, credentials on this 45 is incredible, Don Davis, King Fish, all part of the Thelma stable)

Fabulous Peps - She's going to leave you - Ge Ge 503 M- £60

(Tom Storm of course, uptempo winner, great flip too.  Rarely seen in this condition)

Lawrence & Arabians - I'll try harder - HEM 1002 M- £80

(Very collectable label, great big brassy group dancer, just a minor rub on flip label)

Theola Kilgore - It's gonna be alright / I can't stand it - Mercury 72564 WD M- £65

(2 of the crispest female soul sides you're likely to come across, both superb.  I suspect a hard to find Demo of this 45)

Edwin Starr - Scott's on Swingers - Ric Tic 109X WD Ex+ £300

(Needs no introduction, in house dedication to local DJ Scott Regen. One of the rarer White Demos on the label)
