Half a dozen to warm you up for the weekend, every one a turntable companion whether you're playing a niter or mooching at home...........
Sound files where not added on request, happy to take questions or reservations by PM.
Poppies - There's a pain in my heart - Epic 10086 M- £250 ON HOLD (LOOK CLOSELY, I can't remember ever seeing this on the yellow label stock copy before, and for those of you who collect the Epic label in this format it's not one to be missed. Seriously outnumbered by the white demo's this fabulous girl group dancer may have just dismissed the myth, it comes in stunning condition too. With no previous information on here or soul source, the price is either right to buy now, or someone's getting a bargain, or I'm gonna be barking up the wrong tree, only time will tell)
O' Jays - I'll never forget you - Imperial 66162 M- £200 SOLD
(Displays all the hallmarks of genius, Detroit legends Mike Terry and Jack Ashford pulling the ropes on this stunning west coast released Solid Hitbound production that will never ever go out of vogue)
Sugar N' Spice - Lucky we - Lira 777 M- £300
(Never shows up, completely elusive Ohio based duo, what a dancer, a hidden gem on a rare and obscure label that will surely take off in the right hands, I recommend the sound file)
Margaret Mandolph - Something beautiful - Planetary 106 Vg+ £300
(Lilting vocals from Little Maggie, fetched big money once, still hard to find and remains popular, numerous calls on my last copy. Has some marks on the vinyl hence grading, however it plays through loud and clear, would be 350+ in M-)
Lorraine Chandler - What can I do - RCA 8810 WD M- £100 ON HOLD
(National recognition for the Pied Piper team, just the lightest of ring wear on the top label and catalogue number on flip. Another went for 125 in the last 24 hours on the fabulous raresoul45's site, what a bargain for a double sider)
Ellie Greenwich - Baby - Red Bird 10034 M- £300 SOLD
(Sublime New York release that's proved to be an outstanding number on this superb label, influenced by the outstanding coupling of Shadow Morton and Jeff Barry)
