Can anyone help with this awesome RARE GROOVE ?

I found this at a record fair last year. It was a white label with "The Team - I Want You" in handwriting on the label.

Does anyone know if this is correct? Also, does anyone know of correct year and label if it had official release?

Good 'ole uncle Phil remastered my 12" recently which is why the sample sounds so clear!

The trouble with the name and the title of this track is how do you find info on Google, etc? All i seem to get are sports teams, etc.

It sounds very much like another version of Marvin Gaye's 'I want you' from the album 'I Want You'. 1976?

If Dave's right about The Team being a backing group that would explain a Marvin cover.
