Totally agree with the article the best soul album ever, remember as a spotty 11yr old kid thumbing through the albums in boots the chemist's and seeing the latest album by the wonderful Mr gaye obviously l had heard all his hits on the radio so l took a chance expecting more of the same, on returning home l took the sleeve notes /words out of the album cover  and thought what the hell is this  , the minute l placed the needle on the record l knew that l was witnessing a masterpiece even today it gives me goosebumps and makes me cry 😿👌🎶🎶🎶

Seminal album. Art truly imitating life,. Marvin at his very best. This album remains totally relevant, truly a masterpiece.
