- seems obscure enough and a nice funk-edged gritty Chicago girl dancer

(5) Madeline & The Monticellos – “Binding Ring Of Gold” (de-vel) EX/M- £40

(6) The Nu-Trons – “Beat” (Eldee) EX £50

- driving, drum and sax-led 60s funk instro with uptempo garage-style version of Searchin’

(7) Robert Taylor – “So Much Love” / “Packing Up Your Love” (Alteen) VG+ £65 *****SOLD*****

- tough 45 and another superb Chicago 60s double-sider

- visual grade is lower end VG+ but not quite VG; both sides play EX

- later version of PUYL on Sonic lacks the punch of this original version

(8) The Spoilers – “Hey Little Girl” / “Sad Man’s Land” (Tobin) EX £100 *****SOLD*****

- brilliant double-sider, uptempo and sweet

- most of these are pretty trashed; not this copy
