One of New Orleans' top frontmen Theryl 'The Houseman' DeClouet passed on in July. He cut some great music fronting Galactic on four albums as well as two great solo labours. Although his best known solo side 'Open Up Your Heart' on Hot Shot was cut in Philadelphia at Sigma Sound Studio he was largely a Big Easy stalwart.  His 'The Houseman Cometh!' album is top notch soul and NOLA R&B.
