Just bought an interesting record, its an Argentinian issue of Benny Latimore - Girl I've Got News For You. Its on a label called Fermata and although its a regular 7" record, it plays at 33rpm. Anyone come across this kind of thing before, any thoughts etc?

Seem to remember JM had an Argentinian Joannie Sommers on his auction a while back

As i said on another posting today (and at risk of repeating myself, I said repeating myself) I've got around 20 Brazilian soul releases from c. 1968-74, all of which play at 33.

Here's one I just happen to have handy:

Musta' beena' South American thing, I guess.
