I'm interested in the different takes of Emanual Laskey's - Don't Lead Me On Baby. I can remember this being discussed when John Manship found a copy of the one with different matrix.
The two are marked thus:
ARP ZTSC 97699 Nashville Matrix 59
And
ARP Nashville Matrix ZTSC 97700 97699 59
Now if John who must have had hundreds of copies of this through his hands over the years only found out about the latter one last year, how can it now be noted in his price guide as the "1st Mix"?
I'm sure it rarer I have three of the former and only one of the latter but is there a sure way to know which came first particularly as one is guide priced at £100 more than the other?
Must say this isn't a dig at John it's a genuine question.
