Johnny Baker - It’s your night - Expansion / NM / £55 (Killer 2 step that was never released until now. Limited press to 300 which sold out immediately.)
Gregory Jolly – What’em doing is my business – G-K/Record Shack / NM / £20 (Killer reissue, first time on 7. Amazing, deep modern soul/disco dancer. Original version on one side plus a great edited one on the other. Yellow vinyl and label is borrowing the design from the original 12 inch..)
Buck - It’s going to be alright - Playboy / EX / £8 (Superb feel good cheapie. With company sleeve, and three “Certified Gold Standard” stickers on label.)
David Sheffield - You’re wrong, you’re wrong - Stone Lady / EX / £250 (Unique, quirky and very soulful crossover. Pressed slight off centre. With the weird echo sounds it’s hard to determine if this affects play. I came to the conclusion it’s not by listening to the more static b-side. Hear both sides on the youtube link below.)
Fourcounts - A home in loveland - Lyndell / VG / £150 (Superb NS with harmonies to die for. Nice VG, plays with occasional light background noise not overpowering music.
Carol Jones - Don’t destroy me - Mutt / VG+ / £120 (Detroit soul with attitude and hip hop drums galore. The rawer, punchier and much better version with horns and no violins. Vinyl has a couple of spots not affecting play.)
Lee Moses - I can’t take no chances - Front Page / EX / £60 (Killer crossover which was also done by Chosen Few. This version is rougher with deeper vocals and hard hip hop styled drums. Felt pen mark on label.)
James Kelly Duhon - In school / Heart breaker - Jude / EX / £35 (Dancer b/w a beautiful ballad. First release before Mainstream. Labels are ugly with demo rubber stamp on both sides + “In school” side has two tears and flip felt pen scribbles.)
Little Stevie Wonder - Contract on love - Tamla / VG- / £20 (Classic dancer. Lots of light marks, plays more or less clean. BB hole through label and a little label wear.)
Joe Simon - Long hot summer - Sound Stage 7 / VG / £8 (White demo of this stomping NS dancer. Visually VG with some scuffs but plays clean. Writing on flipside.)
Isley Brothers - It’s out of the question - Tamla Motown / VG+ / £8 (UK Tamla Motown, no USA 45 for this stomping NS classic. Solid centre pressing variation.)

Leon Debouse - A fine instrument - Bold / EX/EX / £250 (Rare TK distributed LP with the stunning “Every fella’s girl” and the good “Getting with my baby”. Cover lower end of EX with a little wear on one corner.)
Leroy Hutson - Love oh love - Curtom / EX/VG+ / £70 (First press of his first album, without the white border on the cover. Cover has cut out hole and a few creases around the corners.)
Solid Solution - Loving you - Silver Spoon / EX/VG / £40 (1978 Detroit indie with a great dancer in “Think about it, girl” and soulful midtempo in “L.O.V.E”. Cover has stains from H2O contact.)
Chocolate Milk - Action speaks louder than words - Rca / EX/EX / £35 (Classic 1975 title filled to the brim with funky cuts like the title track, “Time machine”, “My mind is hazy” and the smooth “What about love”. Name written on the front cover.)
Tony Silvester & the New Ingredient - Magic touch - Mercury / EX/EX / £30 (With the fantastic 2 step track “Waves of love”. “Pazuzu” is a nice disco track and “Verry White” is a great Barry White styled instrumental.)
Gil Scott-Heron / Brian Jackson - Winter in America - Strata-East / VG+/VG+ / £30 (Classic album with “The bottle”. Cover has two slightly damaged corners apart from that pretty nice.)
Voices of East Harlem -s/t - Just Sunshine / EX/VG+ / £30 (Superb Tufo/Hutson arranged album, with“Cashing in”, “Wanted dead or alive” etc. Cover looks nice but upper left corner is bumped and a slightly damaged.)
Father’s Children - Who’s gonna save the world - Numero / EX/EX / £25 (Previously unissued material, with “Everybody’s got a problem”, “Dirt & grime” etc. With bonus 7 inch and promo pics.)
Family Underground - Once in a lifetime - Hollygrove / EX/EX / £20 (2006 album with previously unissued material from the late 1970’s. Holds a bunch of great sounds such as “Nowhere to run” and “All we have is song”. )
Garland Green - Love is what we came here for - Rca / VG/VG / £12 (With the album only dancer “I’ve quit running the streets”. Vinyl has some scattered marks, main tracks plays fine. Cover has “Dance music” written on front cover and scattered light wear.)

Intruders - Energy of love - PIR / VG+/EX / £8 (Classic 1974 Philly soul LP. With “A nice girl like you” and “Be thankful for what you got”. Cover still in shrink.)
Damion & Denita - s/t - Rocket/mca / EX/EX / £6 (With two great two steps tracks in “Love your sexy ways” and “Is it still warm”. Cover ni shrink but has one slightly creased corner and small cut out saw mark.)
Lamont Dozier - Right there - WB / EX/VG+ / £6 (Superb 1976 album with personal standouts in “Joy” and “Can’t get off until the feeling stops”. Cover has slight stain from removed price tag, cut out saw mark and a little wear on one corner.)

Gradings
NM – spotless record. One grading I don’t really use – one tiny mark/scuff/flame/scratch and it’s EX. Many new records will not make this grade.
EX – Basically everything that will look and play great.
VG+ – Will have marks that may very moderately affect play. Might have fairly large amount cosmetic marks not affecting play.
VG – Lots of marks, should still play fairly well but not perfect.
VG- – Lots and lots of marks, see description on how it plays.

Gradings
NM – spotless record. One grading I don’t really use – one tiny mark/scuff/flame/scratch and it’s EX. Many new records will not make this grade.
EX – Basically everything that will look and play great.
VG+ – Will have marks that may very moderately affect play. Might have fairly large amount cosmetic marks not affecting play.
VG – Lots of marks, should still play fairly well but not perfect.
VG- – Lots and lots of marks, see description on how it plays.
