Hello and welcome to the February 2021 list! Another mixed bag of formats and styles, and for the first time in ten years doing sales lists even a gospel 45 section.
As always just PM to order. And I will get back to you with availability, total and payment details. All records are for sale on a first come first serve basis and a lot of titles sell very quickly.
As of January the United Kingdom has a new trade agreement with the EU where all goods are subject to import duties. I will of course declare low value and mark as gift to avoid them. Same goes for all other non EU orders.
BR, Karl
Modern Soul & Two Step 45’s
Johnnie Mae Matthews – Crazy about you – Northern / VG+ / £300 (Stunning two step! Vinyl has a few light marks, plays ok but with a few soft clicks.)

Northern Soul & Crossover Soul 45’s
Mr. Mercy – The kangaroo / Remember me – Playboy / EX / £750 (Major NS double header rarity here, same label as the more well known Charles Holiday “Don’t lie” but much rarer. George McCrae – Take it all off – Blue Candle / EX / £175 (Just lovely midtempo dancer that seems to be under the radar for many. Usually seen on Soul City or United Artists, this first label release is a true rarity. At least 10x rarer than JP Robinson on the same label. Label has drill hole.)
Prophecy – Rain in my life / Let me keep on walking – All Platinum / EX / £80 (Stunning xover with equally good ballad flip. Drill hole through label.)
Unknown Artist – Suddenly / Just another – Preservation Project / S/S / £50 (Two great sides, crossover and a ballad. 2021 release of previously unissued sides. Limited press that sold out within a few days.)
Terrible Tom – We were made for each other – Maverick / EX / £12 (NS oldie, bootleg made in a white demo style. Label has a couple of faint stains from removed stickers.)

Baby Love – Do it for me / Is your love real – De Mo Rr Is / EX / £300 (Simply amazing Chicago ballad. Frantic dancer on the flip. Super clean copy, much rarer on this label than on the Dud Sound one.)
Gran Am – Angel of love / Get high – J’Ace / EX / £250 (Stunning backing with sparse backing. Flip is great black funky rock. Rare 1975 Memphis release.)

Rocket – s/t – RFC / EX/EX / £90 (Classic disco title heaving with disco goodies. EX but spot mark on “Here comes my love” that causes 4/5 light clicks. Cover with hype sticker and partially in shrink.)
Positive Express – Changing times – Victory / EX/VG+ / £35 (Nice album with plenty of dancers like “Do me” but also a superb version of Moments “Not on the outside”. Title written on label.)
Voices of East Harlem -s/t – Just Sunshine / EX/VG+ / £25 (Superb Tufo/Hutson arranged album, with“Cashing in”, “Wanted dead or alive” etc. Cover looks nice but upper left corner is bumped and a slightly damaged.)
