Calling Andy Crane! Hi Andy, Simon Penfold here hope you are well. I am living in Brighton now and itching to get a regular Northern night going again. Perhaps I am 'looking through rose tinted glasses' after recently having 2 years up In Manchester and being completely spoilt with the brilliant do's and fantastic music but there must be the crowd in and around Brighton to get a monthly night going?? If the brilliant 'Stolen Hours' night in Ramsgate can attract 120 then why not bohemian/cosmopolitan Brighton?? This also goes out to anyone else in and around Brighton who attended the memorable nights run by Jok at the Concorde etc. I am not looking to tread on anyones toes here but...come on let's get something going again????? sipenfold@btinternet.com

Not a monthly do but i have just arranged an alldayer down the Volks for Sunday, May 27th (Bank holiday weekend). Confirmed on the decks so far, The Soul Sisters (Sue & Amanda) & Paul Sutton, more to be confirmed!

Possibly mate, don't personally wanna commit myself too much but i'm always willing to help out if anybody wants to get something going.

If this do goes well though & i enjoy putting it on may well be up for putting some more on.

A monthly do sounds like a nice idea it's just finding the right venue, think it would have to be a Saturday as Fridays seem like a wash out nowadays in Brighton.

It's the best venue in Brighton imo but i already do a monthly Saturday there, not sure if i'd want to do another regular do at the same venue.

Also not sure if there's enough people into NS in Brighton or people willing to travel to fill a 200 plus venue every month.

If you're interested though let me know & i can see if anything's available?

I've saw Andy and Paula around quite a lot in the south last year but haven't run across them so far this year. Maybe they'll turn up at Bournemouth on the 17th at Bourne for Soul.
