Arguably THE most sought after lowrider 45 in existence thanks in part to its use as a sample, but putting that to one side we are left with an absolute dagger of a tune. Do not ignore the often overlooked flip side either, another lovely lowrider ballad in itself. So, so hard to find in nice condition, with a Mint- selling on Manship’s auction only last month for over £600, this one is close to mint- , very slight storage warp (DNAP) and one small marker pen line on label are the only blemishes. In current climate a bargain and a beauty.

One of their hardest 45s to obtain and their best (IMHO), like the above only bills and other purchases force this sale. Big, big lowrider tune that still seems somewhat under the radar here, probably thanks to the popularity of ‘No Time/Hey It’s Love’. Not one you’ll find in this condition too often.
Vanguards - It’s Too Late For Love/The Thought Of Losing Your Love (Lamp WD) Mint- (some bubbling to label) £60 Sold
Gorgeous lowrider group harmony one side, funky hard edged northern the other (been bubbling under for some time and finally getting some deserved attention). Double sider that’s currently still far too cheap, can only rise in value.
