One of Chicago’s greatest groups, with a clutch of sought after rarities on Bluelight, Moneytown and of course their mega rarity on USA. Here is one of their easy to find, but no less infectious 45s. Overlooked for too long, the top side has huge potential, again don’t dismiss the flip either.
Detroit Cumberland Rivers - I’m Going Home (Kable) Vg/Vg- (was £40) now £30
The rarest of the three and notoriously difficult to find in decent condition (seen for well over £100 in better condition). Superb Detroit group harmony gospel dancer and a former Dave Thorley and Greg Belson tip (was featured on a fairly recent Devine Chord Gospel show). The key side ‘Going Home’ plays strong Vg, clip below.
Supreme Travelers - Death Shakes Frame (Gospel Master) Ex (was £50) now £35
Totally under the radar, obscure funky gospel soul banger, just right for now. As good as any of the recent biggies to have crossed over (Holy Disciples, Gospel IQ’s, Salem Travelers etc.) potential is huge for this one.
