Hi Tom,

I'm going out there next week funnily enough. Do some research on the internet. You will find loads but give the Bronx a miss!

There is a Northern Soul club in NY called 'The subway Soul club' They have a website so just type in what Ive written. They may also be able to point you in the right direction for rec shops.
