Hello.. my Vestax PCV 275 isn't giving me any master output and the lights on the master aren't going up. Can still hear everything (2 turntables) through the headphones but nothing coming out the master. Does anyone know whats wrong? Pls..

If I do need a new mixer can anyone give me some recommendations? 300-400GBP...doesn't need all the bells & whistles, just need to be able to mix a couple of 45's and record them.

Appreciate any advice...

Matt

Hi sounds like you have serious problems, odd because Vestax are great mixers usually solidly built. In that price range you mentioned I'd go for the 2 channel Allen & Heath Zone, or Numark M6 5 channel USB (£175), thats one I'm using great sound and balanced outputs. Hope this helps.

I bought a Numark M6 to replace my Technics mixer a couple of years ago, very good value for money. That's what I use at Stewartby. I bought it from Sound & Vision Express (Pete French)
