Up until recently this Chicago rarity has lived in the shadow of the group’s rarer outings on Peaches and La Cindy, but the increasing interest in sweet soul and lowrider 45s has seen demand for this exquisite group harmony ballad increase significantly and, as a consequence, the price has more than doubled with its last two sales on Discogs reaching £500 in 2020 and £525 earlier this year. Flip it for another wonderful slab of northern group harmony that has - as mentioned- been somewhat overlooked in favour of some of their other outings. Beware not all sides play ‘Heaven’ in the flip, but this ones does (a rarity of a rarity). This doesn’t get come to market often, don’t sleep.
