Hoping somebody can help me out with some info on the above track. Done a bit of googling but all I've come up with is a CD release by The Vikings with the track Heartache on, but can't find any info at all about this 45. Couldn't find much on th label either, although JMs website has this label and catalogue number (Voyage 1001) as being a Pat Mercer release??

this turns up occasionally, but I've always seen it as a double-a side (so I avoided buying it), but the soul harmony singles book has this listed with a flip. I've never seen it as an issue with the flip. I haven't been looking really hard, though.

The book lists the a-side as "never seen a stranger". It must be a ballad side since the book lists it as the a-side (even though the side you posted is the "real" a-side as it shows up as a double sided promo).
