Double sided dynamite and his best by a country mile. ‘Wishing’ is a simply stunning lower ballad that just oozes class and is quite rightly in high demand stateside. Flip it for under the radar, underplayed in your face, aggro soul that really should be a monster (had some plays in Europe and I think Ted Massey plays this out from time to time). These don’t come to market often and even more rarely in nice clean condition like this one, a tiny piece of biro on label being it’s only blemish (why do so many of these have the biro on label?).
Milton Floyd - I’m A Shadow/Anyway I Can (RIM) Ex WOL (see image) £150
Much like the above with two incredible sides that will appeal to different scenes/collectors. ‘Shadow’ is a monster sweet soul spin on the lower circuit and prices have been rising on this significantly in recent years due to increasing demand. Flip is a funky edged dancer that seems to have been ignored by many and sounds dead right for now.

Forty quid for this seems ridiculous given the prices of so many 45s that aren’t nearly as good. Lowrider heaven with plenty of crossover appeal. Won’t stay this price for long that’s for sure.
