(1) Dan Brantley - "You Got To Prove It" (Federal) VG+ £60      ****SOLD****

  • underplayed category, surely? Superb dancefloor material - bags of potential
  • would have graded higher but for some marker pen on the flip and an odd dull film on the vinyl DNAP

(2) Linda Jones - "I Just Can't Live My Life" (Warner Bros WD) VG/VG+ £200    ****SOLD****

  • borderline VG/VG+ some label wear, light vinyl marks and a little crackle on the intro; check out the soundfile and scan
  • still a decent price for this classic

(3) Tommy Hunt - "Words Can Never Tell It" (Dynamo) VG+/EX £40   ***SOLD***

  • words always fail me for how good this record is

(4) Tyrone (The Wonder Boy) ""Please Consider Me"/"You Made Me Suffer" (Four Brothers) EX £40   ****SOLD***

  • brilliant double-sider, generally listed for 'Please Consider Me'
  • but it's 'Suffer' which is the real money side - mean and moody mid-tempo; a brilliant slab of gritty soul
