Patricia Denson & The Soul Expressions - I Thought I Heard You Moan/Home From Vietnam Mint- £125
Killer under the radar double sider here in super condition. ‘Moan’ is the better of the two sides for me, with a great lead and gorgeous female group harmony backing. There’s growing demand from the lowrider collectors for this one with ‘Vietnam’ another glorious slowie on the flip meaning the price os going only one way. Hard one.
Edwards Generation - Someone Like You (Ghetto) Mint- £30
Had two copies of this a few weeks back and they flew out, this is my last copy so be quick. Killer sweet soul that appears to be completely under the radar. Their first recording (as far as I’m aware) and it’s a bomb. Another that’s still cheap, for now.
Dee Dee Joseph and David - Peace Of Mind/She’s Got Something (Free Soul Inc.) Mint- £25
Almost completely unknown kiddie soul double sider. Top side is a gorgeous sweet soul group harmony ballad and a tip of the late, great Bob Abraham. Flip it for an unknown funky crossover dancer that sounds right for now. My last spare copy (the other three flew out) and not a common 45 by any means either.
