Hi people.

Just realized that ebay is taking 12.9% final value fee + 1.3 international fee and then VAT (20% on top of that) and some another fixed 0.30$ - so all in all they took 56.54$ out of 303.50$

Btw, over here in Serbia, we had to switch to payoneer instead of paypal, and they are, i think taking another 10$. not to mention that they transfer everything to dollars by their great conversation rate.

Is that only here in Serbia, or is it everywhere?

 

For me, buying from the States has just about stopped. Ebay are pricing themselves off the market. The terrible global shipping costs etc . I used to buy regularly from USA, now it is becoming hardly worth it! Not only having to pay as much as buying in the UK because of price guides, but taking more risk with postage and costs for no advantage. Sending something back is really expensive. Something really not fair is when they included the postage costs in the final price, then take a higher cut because of it. It's the buyer who wants the item shipped, not the seller.

Yes this is insane.

I don’t wanna know what crazy amount Carolinasoul,Funkyou etc have to pay on fees to Ebay every month.
