Not listed on Discogs, only one copy through eBay in 15 years (2018), no YouTube (clip below on my channel is from a previous copy which flew out) and the only other mention online is a Steve Clancy sales post on a FB listing about a year or so ago where he’d found two copies and bought both! Former Paul Sadot spin, killer drums, infectious mid tempo funk edged gospel that’s both rare and very much under the radar. Flip is sublime gospel deepie that’s unknown to most (note: this side sticks right at the very end of the recording).
Salem Travelers - Give Liberty Or Death (Checker) Ex £25 ***SOLD**$
What can only be described as a classic of the genre now, one of the first and arguably still one of the very best gospel funk 45s to have wider appeal across the various scenes. Lovely copy of a guaranteed floor filler.
