Hi all, long time soul fan, but new to the forum.

Does anyone have recommendations for good books about recording / production in the 70s? I make period authentic (ish!) disco music, and am fascinated by recording technology and techniques in the 70s, but can’t find any decent books written about it.

I would be really grateful if anyone had any recommendations.

The only book I've got that seems roughly appropriate is 'Temples of Sound' by Jim Coogan and William Clark, published by Chronicle Books in 2003.
