Joys of Life - Good Times Are Over/Descent (Columbia) Vg+ (some hairlines and lower end of grade visually but plays strong Vg+ priced accordingly) £125
Best of both double sider! Gorgeous garage soul topside that sounds bang on for now and growing in demand, flip it for a full on, raw garage monster that would not sound out of place on some todays more progressive sets. Tough 45 and demand has seen nice copies going for £250, this one plays solid Vg+ despite hairlines and a little label wear.
You Know Who Group - Don’t Play It No More (Quality Promo) Vg+ £45
Killer Garage/R&B 45 that’s picking up plays in Europe curtesy of Michele Coco. Blinding 45 with an infectious harmonica and driving drums. Seems pretty scarce, could have a big future this one!
From the label best known for the N Group double sider, here’s one that’s properly under the radar! Played by Paul Roberts on a recent RSF stream to a great deal of interest. Killer garage/R&B that I’m amazed has escaped attention previously. A real find.
Postage UK £1.80 standard first class or £3.50 recorded, £8 special delivery registered and insured, Europe £8.95 tracked and signed. USA £12.95 tracked.
