Donn Alimingo - Pretty Black Girl (Black Beauty) Ex £100

AKA Donn and The Delighters, AKA Donald Jenkins and The Delighters! Here’s an opportunity to own a genuine under the radar rarity that simply never surfaces at arguably a fraction of what it should go for! Stunning sweet soul ballad that I’ve only seen in the late great Bob Abraham’s collection (a WD credited to Donn and The Delighters - where the only YouTube clip is from). Here is the issue copy, seen fewer than five times on eBay and Discogs and credited to Donn Alimingo. All the copies listed on Popsike have the stick on stars on the label (or residue from them) so these I assume were officially added after pressing. A very rare 45.

Killer blue eyed lowrider group harmony. Seems to be exceptionally rare given the tiny number through eBay and Discogs, pretty much totally under the radar too (except to one or two of the Popcorn collectors), but it’s recent upload to M818joker’s incredibly popular YouTube channel is likely to change that. Bargain, last copy I had sold at £125 and that was WD, not seen a blue issue before!
