Couple of tidy releases from a major label up for grabs….. condition, condition, condition!

Happy to send additional images or sound file, please PM any questions or to reserve.

Burning Bush – Keeps on burning – Mercury 72657 WD M- £300 SOLD

I read somewhere that this was covered up as the ‘Gems – You keep puttin’ the burning on’ by Ginger Taylor filling floors at Cleethorpes Pier and Wigan way back in the day. A 45 that’s stood the test of time and will hold memories of how fast they could move back in the day for many! Presented in gorgeous mint minus condition with only a tiny stain on the top label under the arranger details.

Sonny Moore – Erase and replace – Mercury 72703 WD M- £900 SOLD

Occasionally, a 45 crosses my path that I find hard to define in terms of style and valuation. Having spent some time reading a variety of topics about this release, it’s clear it’s not a conventional Northern track, and I’ve heard a great number of tunes that fit the genre less, so here we are! The demand for it since it became established has not been met by and uplift in supply, so they don’t come to market often, which is unusual for a major label.

It appears the stock copy may be harder than the demo, but its not a clear gap. So as far as valuation goes, I’ve priced it according to what I have seen stockers listed at and paid for with a little off for the demo format. Presented in gorgeous mint minus condition with a slight edge lift from storage which does not affect play.
