is there a way of finding info re article’s in Echoes/Black. Glenn Bellamy did an article re British Soul maybe in the archives

if any one has a copy or link to it  would be much appreciated

Pete Widdison also put an article in around the same time as Glenn mid to late 70’s.

I have quite a few copies from 1976 etc, will take a look if no one else does.  Mine in storage at minute whilst I move. 

Dragged a couple of boxes out of the attic yesterday, loads of Black Echoes, enjoyed browsing through them after so long. Found these...sorry about the scan quality.

Wife thought I was finally taking them to the tip...🤣

Thanks PaulW for posting the Echoes scan, Slightly off topic, but this is the issue with John Anderson's letter, where he confirms that the orange label copies of The Detroit Executives- Cool Off are originals, not the green ones. There has been some discussion about this record in the past, great to see his answer in print at last.

Well that was John's version of events. But why were the green copies made if there was all the large amount of orange copies already made? And why have the green labels always been regarded as the first originals?

Did Popcorn Wylie get the orange copies pressed before or after it was played on the Northern Soul scene?      That's the big question to me?
