Friday evening we had the first Hideaway event in the new season at the American hotel in Amsterdam. Of course the mood and vibe was completely different than usual, because a lot of the people there are friends of Kees Smallegange who died suddenly last week. It is hard to play and enjoy music when your heart is heavy.
